Itchy...

So all, sorry for the lag in posts lately. Not a lot to blog about, though we have been busy busy busy.

We recently had some doves build a nest on the ceiling fan on our back patio, and they had some babies. It was kind of fun to watch them grow, and then leave.

The babies, just before they flew away.

Also, the other night I was going to go outside for a bit, and saw this right outside our back door:

Just in case you can't tell what that is, either click on it for a bigger image, or here is a closer look:

Eww.

Yes, we had our first black widow. It is now dead. And I don't even feel bad about it.

Then, the very next day, we found this in our house.

Again, if you can't tell what it is, click on it, or look here:

Eww again.

A big, fat wolf spider was in our bathroom. Another was in our kitchen/dining room. Both are also dead. I am usually not one to kill wolf spiders, they eat bugs and such. But they shouldn't come in the house if they value their well-being. (And they are crazy fast. Just as a side note.)

We did also see a coyote on Sunday, the same day as the wolf spiders, but didn't get a picture. Oh well. It was a lot more fun than the spiders.

Anyway, that's about it for now. Take it easy, all.
