Please, no visual clichés...

Recently, I was reading about submission guidelines for Arizona Highways magazine, just for fun. They actually request that you "avoid visual clichés like saguaro silhouettes at sunset." I didn't really think much about it at the time.

A few days later, Amy and I went to eat at a local restaurant, and they had photos on the wall for sale. Every one was of a saguaro silhouette at sunset. No lies. All of them. Now I understand their request.

Anyway, things here are pretty crazy. We have put in an offer on our house, and are now just waiting for a response on that, which could take a while.

I haven't really had a chance to take a lot of pictures lately, so not a lot to show here. I do have a few of my mobile garden. They have to be mobile, because they go under our porch in the summer, to prevent my plants from bursting into flame, but they go out during the winter to get some sunshine. I leave you with these photos:

Though not mobile, this mint has managed to survive for quite a while.

A cherry pepper getting ripe. These are the hottest freaking cherry peppers in the history of man.

My pear tomatoes.

The whole garden. Including Amy's hanging plant, that hasn't been enjoying winter.

That's about it for now. Take it easy, all.

Oh yeah, on the box: Bright Spring Morning - Suburban Legends
