Charging On...

Well, I finally broke down this week and decided to spend some of my saved up gift money. What did I purchase, you ask? Well, here you go.

This is a Ruger 22 Charger. For those of you that care about the technical stuff, it is a Ruger 10/22 rifle action, only with a short barrel and a pistol stock. I took it out to shoot yesterday, and it is a load of fun. Once I got it sighted in, it held a group pretty well, too. Here are some scans of targets. The top one had a lot of rounds put through it, and the bottom had just ten, which are marked on it.

Besides that, things here are going well. We had visitors over the weekend, Amy's Aunt came in from El Paso with a friend to pick some things up, and we all had a grand time. We have a new bed, which is very, very exciting for us. It's really tall, and took some getting used to, but we like it now.

That's really about it for now. Just keep on keepin' on.

I leave you with a few more pictures.

The view through the red-dot sight.
Took some getting used to, that did.

The Charger next to my new Nerf gun.

A rendition of what it may have looked
like if Van Gogh had owned a Charger.

That's about it for now. Take it easy, all.
