Clean up...

After a months worth of saved drafts, all of which were cut off half-way in hopes of finishing them later, I have decided to actually add to my blog. What else do I have to do at 1 a.m.?

So, whats new. Hmmm, I have officially moved to swing shifts at my new job, love the crew, hate the hours. But we make up for it by having a pot luck about every other week. One of our machines hasn't been running well lately, so that means lots of overtime. When you have 9 hours of downtime at the end of Tuesday, it makes it hard to catch up. Oh well, money money money by the pound to quote Doc Terminus.

I officially finish training this week, which is good because I then become full-time instead of being "supplimental". So I get to be a wrapper, instead of a mere trainee. (Don't get too excited, I'll be doing the same thing, except now I won't have an excuse when I screw up.)

Before I forget, congrats go out to my cousin Paige and her fiance Brody (pardon the spelling, will fix it later). They are getting married on Friday, June 14th, so congratulations and many happy years to them.

I got a haircut yesterday, the first that I have actually paid for in probably 5 years. Went to a real barber shop and everything.

I was hoping to have some fun pictures and such to post here, but haven't come across any good ones yet. I will keep trying, though.

I made a ride up to the monastary in Huntsville over the Fourth of July weekend, got some honey, some peanut butter and some cereal. All good stuff. (Click here to go to their web page, pretty interesting stuff.) I got the opportunity to patch a bicycle tire again, which I am getting fairly good at. Still made it, though.

Amy and I are under 160 days until the wedding. Pretty exciting, stuff, I know. We are hoping to get our photos taken for our invites, if only I could ever get a Saturday off so we could do it. Well, soon enough. I can't believe how fast the time is going by, it seems like it was only last week that I proposed, now we are well under 6 months. Wow.

Anyway, my contacts are really starting to dry out, so I should probably wrap this up. Take it easy, all.
