Home At Last...

Well, sort of home, anyway. We made it into Tucson with no problem, Amy has started work, we now have a local phone and an internet connection, and lots of boxes all over. We are slowly getting unpacked, though, so thats good.

It is hot here, they weren't lying when they said that. But, to quote a well-used phrase here, "it's a dry heat." So, thats good. We have a little gym here at the apartment complex, so I am trying to get back into a workout routine, hopefully lose some weight. That would be good. I've gone twice so far. Hopefully that will get better.

My mom and grandma came down last weekend, and it was nice to see them. We all went to the Sonora Arizona Desert Museum on one day, which was really cool. Then we went to Tombstone on Saturday. That was a lot of fun as well. We drove through some lovely country to get there, and all in all had a grand old time.

So, the moment you've all been waiting for, here are some pictures of our house, showing our wonderful "office" and everything. (Actually, the apartment is bigger than it seemed at first, so I won't knock it.)

Amy working hard. In the livingdiningoffice room.

Another of the livingdiningoffice room. Note we got the couch and the big chair in there.

Yet another view of the livingdiningoffice room, and the shambles therein.

The kitchendining area, the kitchen is more to the left there.

The bedroom. Simple enough.

Anyway, thats about it for now. We are gradually getting unpacked, as everthing finds a home. So, all is well. Take it easy, all...

P.S. -- Happy 30th Birthday, Jami. You didn't really think that I'd forget to mention that, did you? Love ya!!!

Well, it looks like things have shifted around some more. Everything will eventually find its home. Glad you are having fun making your new place.
