Cheese - It's like milk, only older...
Hey all, just a quick update here, as it has been a while. Things are good in Arizona. The monsoons are here, so things have cooled off a bit, but we have some humidity now.
Work is, well, work. I clean dorm rooms. That's about it there.
Amy's parents were here for a week, which was lovely. They were able to be here for Amy's birthday. They brought some stuff with them that I had left in Utah, which was great.
Which brings me to my next topic, my bow. When they came, they brought with them this:
It's a Browning Safari II recurve. 60" long, with a 47# pull. Which is a lot harder than it sounds.
I went out to the archery range we have here in town, and used it some, and got very sore. I do still need practice, also.
Amy and I had a good 4th of July. We went to some friends houses for barbeques and such, it was fun. I shaved my head over the weekend, then went outside for a while without a hat, so I got me a wicked sunburn. It's pretty much healed, now, though, which is nice.
I developed a roll of Tri-X over the weekend as well. I have changed developers, and am still deciding if I like the new. They came out alright, I suppose, I just have to figure out my times and temperatures and such again.
So, that's about it for now. I leave you with some pictures of stuff.

Dear Jon,
The more that you share your photography, the more I am convinced you belong in our family!!!
I can't say which I like more: the geranium, the chair, or the shadow.
The shadow is very cool.
Yep. Monsoons here too. And humidity. And soon, aren't we lucky, the mosquitos. Yuk.
Much love, Aunt Patsy
Oooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhh

Hey Jon,
Missed you at games on Wednesday, I actually came for once!
Did you switch to HC-110? If so, I always found it handy to have a syringe to measure the stuff with.
Also, I just got back from Benson where I did some large format work for my work. 3 turned out okay, will have to show you sometime.
Take care, talk to you later,
gb
